Architectural history tends to focus heavily on monumental structures, like Chicago's famed skyscrapers. We want to change the perspective in part seven of our Chicago Architecture Crash, looking at the evolution of the city's housing stock from the workers' cottages of the 1800s to the McMansions of the present day.
